Get Stock Back with Stash Debit Card

So if you don't know Stash has a debit card that offers stock back whenever you make purchases with the debit card.
The way this works is when you sign up for stash you have the option to get a debit card.
Once you sign up for that debit card and you transfer money from your bank account to debit card any purchases that you make at a major retailer that's inside the stash stocks system you receive cash back.
So if you were to purchase some McDonald's for breakfast like I did today you will receive stock back in that company. Which is a small percentage of the McDonalds stock price in the form of a fractional share.
The funds will typically show up in your account within 24 hours you will see the fractional share of MCD (McDonalds) and it will be added to your portfolio in Stash.
The most I've received back so far was a purchase I made for a toner cartridge from Amazon for $33 and I pretty much received $1.01 in Amazon shares.
Percentage of stock backs that you receive varies from company to company so the Amazon might offer maybe 3% Stock back but then you may make a purchase at CVS and realize that CVS offers 5% cash back so it varies.
The other thing I wanted to point out is if you made a purchase at a local store. In New York we have bodegas if you make a purchase at a corner store with your Stash debit card obviously the corner store does not have stocks and it's not a publicly traded company. So there is no stock to get back.
What you could do in Stash for those local purchases you can set an ETF that you would like to receive  fractional Shares of whenever you make local purchases.
If you don't have Stash and you're interested in signing up. I've included a link in this blog post to do so. When you sign up with this link you will receive $25 to start investing.
All right that's it guys so let me know what you think about Stash stock back in the comment section below. Thanks for reading this post and yall have a bless day !😎
